Hi, I’m Dakota!
Creative strategist, designer, and founder of Prism & Hue Studio.
My journey began with a lifelong curiosity about how creativity and clarity can coexist. How the right visuals, systems, and storytelling can transform not just a brand, but the woman behind it.
With over 15 years of experience in service-driven industries and a background in design, I’ve learned that the most impactful brands aren’t built overnight, they’re shaped through intention, structure, and an understanding of who you’re becoming.
At Prism & Hue Studio, I help women, especially those in their 30s and 40s reinvent themselves and create brands and business foundations that feel authentic. Through thoughtful design and streamlined systems, I blend artistry with strategy to help you step confidently into your next chapter.

My Expertise
With over 15 years of experience in leadership, operations, and customer service, and a lifelong passion for design and storytelling, I bring both creative vision and strategic precision to every project I take on.
My creative journey began in 2015, when a spark of curiosity turned into a self-taught pursuit of design, branding, and visual storytelling. What started as a hobby evolved into Prism & Hue Studio, a creative space dedicated to helping women in their 30s and 40s build intentional brands and business systems that reflect who they are and where they’re going.
I hold dual degrees in Fashion Design and Psychology, which shape the way I approach both aesthetics and human connection. My background spans event design, operations leadership, and digital strategy, giving me a unique ability to bridge creativity with structure. As an events manager at an art center, I styled and executed intimate celebrations with an eye for detail. Later, as a digital payments leader, I honed the operational and analytical skills that now power my systems-focused work.
My technical foundation supports my creative process. I’m skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, Canva, Figma, SQL, and Microsoft Excel, and have built brands, designed websites, streamlined workflows, and created visual systems that empower clients to work beautifully and efficiently. I also hold certifications in Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, and Data Analytics, ensuring that the work I create is not only visually cohesive but strategically sound.
